•    Provide accounting oversight and Controller-level support to RWB Consulting CFO portfolio of clients.
•    Assist in ERP system conversions and post-conversion guidance & support.

•    Responsible for all aspects of the business including Operations, Employee Training, Marketing and Accounting.
•    Manage a staff of five employees spread across two locations (Southlake and Keller, TX).

Recurring Responsibilities
•    Responsible for the consolidated financial statements, including Actuals, Forecast and Budget, of nine operating units (27 legal entities) located in seven countries.
•    Prepare monthly Management Report for private equity owners and senior lenders.
•    Prepare the Consolidated Financial Report and serve as primary contact for the annual audit.
•    Prepare the Quarterly Compliance Certificate related to the Company’s Credit Agreements.
•    Provide guidance to Finance Directors regarding compliance with US GAAP and research accounting issues as required.
•    Responsible for the Company’s financial reporting consolidation system.


Non-Recurring Responsibilities / Projects
•    Participated in the Company’s various debt re-financings.
•    Participated in two changes in ownership events including the completion of Quality of Earnings Audits, full due diligence support and preparation of the Opening Balance Sheet and related purchase accounting adjustments.

  • October 2010 carve out of Mark IV Information Display Systems (forming Luminator Technology Group) from parent company to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.

•    Participated in three multi-national acquisitions, including the integration of the newly acquired entities into LTG’s accounting processes and controls and the preparation of the Opening Balance Sheet and related purchase accounting adjustments.

Recurring Responsibilities
•    Manage eleven employees with responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day functions in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger / Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Sales and Use Tax and Information Technology.
•    Coordinate the month-end close process, monthly re-forecast (full P&L and balance sheet) and preparation of the annual budget / 5-year plan, including variance analyses.
•    Review and approve sales quotes and sign all contracts.
•    Prepare 13 week rolling cash forecast.
•    Primary contact for annual audit.
•    Create, maintain, and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
•    Prepare various ad hoc reports as needed.


Non-Recurring Responsibilities / Projects
•    Provided support for parent company’s April 2009 Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing and ensured compliance with various Court Orders during the bankruptcy period (emerged in Nov 2009)
•    December 2007 sale of Mark IV to Sun Capital Partners. Main contact for Mark IV’s Information Displays Systems division, including three European sister companies, in support of a Quality of Earnings audit and full due diligence.
•    Participated in the planning for and execution of 2006 facility move, sale of fabrication department and subsequent outsourcing of 3,000+ part numbers.
•    Lead contact working with Corporate Internal Audit department to implement Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements (2005).


Credit Manager (January 2003 – April 2004)
•    $2.5 Million reduction (78%) in invoices 60 days past due or greater.
•    Implemented several analytical reports to prioritize collection efforts.
•    Worked with several departments to streamline the processing of sales orders and credit memos.


Mark IV Automotive Global Headquarters – Sölvesborg, Sweden (annual revenue = $1.3 Billion)
Assistant Controller / Manager, Financial Reporting (June 1998 – December 2002)
•    Consolidate the financial statements of forty-six reporting units in fifteen countries.
•    Prepare monthly Management Report with emphasis on the components of operating cash flow (EBITDA, Capex and Working Capital) compared to Forecast, Budget and Prior Year.
•    Worked with senior management and investment bankers during 2000 sale of Mark IV to BC Partners.
•    Worked with Mark IV Corporate I.T. department to centralize Mark IV’s financial reporting software on the Intranet.

•    Responsibilities include various account analyses, account reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, processing of Accounts Payable vouchers, posting of journal entries and preparation of various ad hoc reports.
